 Rimawan is a lecturer in Economics. He earned his PhD (Economics) and MSc (Economics) from the University of York, UK. His Sarjana or BA (Economics and Development Studies) is from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. His research interests are in the following fields: - Crime Economics

- Experimental Economics
- Economic Evaluation
- Industrial Economics
He has been joining the Department since 1994 and is also a Visiting Research Fellow at the Centre for Criminal Justice Economics and Psychology (CCJEP), University of York, UK.
